Stream Restoration

General Information:

Since 2006 the Conservation District has had an extensive streambank stabilization and fish habitat enhancement program. This program helps landowners rehabilitate streambanks that have eroded for various reasons all while providing high quality aquatic habitat. In this timeframe the district has completed close to 80 projects restoring over three miles of streams in Cameron County. To report problem areas please contact Todd Deluccia.
